Six years after it came to light, all nine men arrested in the sensational Pollachi sexual assault and extortion case were convicted and sentenced to "life imprisonment till death" by a Mahila Court here on Tuesday.
The Central Bureau of Investigation, probing the multi-crore accounting scam in Satyam Computers on Monday completed its arguments on the charges to be framed against 10 accused in the case.
The final arguments in the multi-crore accounting "fraud" in Satyam Computers commenced on Wednesday in a local court with the prosecution starting its arguments in the case.
The court has also slapped a fine of Rs 35,000 on Koli and Rs 25,000 on Pandher, CBI spokesperson said.
